Galaxy Note 5 making crackling or static sound when playing music or video, other issues.

Android phones have lot of issues in.Among them one of the common faults that Galaxy Note 5 making crackling or static sound when playing music or video and also disturb sound on messenger,Viber etc but working fine on during call.

Note 5 Audio problem

Here is the different steps that you have to follow to find that is the fault of software or hardware related issue on that fault.

The first thing that you want to do is access the service menu. Here’s how it’s done:

Open the Phone app.
Dial “*#0*#” (without the quotes).
Tap the box that says Speaker.
Listen to the music and see if there’s crackling sound.
If you can hear crackling sound still, the speaker must be bad.

To check further, try doing a more simple test by recording your voice and listening to it.

Open the voice recorder app (it’s a Samsung app so it must be included in a Samsung folder together with other Samsung apps).
Record a few minutes of your voice and listen to it. If the issue persist, the phone’s speaker must be damaged or malfunctioning for some reason.
Unfortunately, there’s no software fix for a bad phone speaker so you must either have the phone repaired or replaced.

Second Step: Try deleting the system cache through the recovery mode

Corrupt caches may often result to inconsistencies in the system’s operations, so before doing further troubleshooting procedures, it’s recommended to wipe the cache partition of your phone. This procedure is very effective for minor firmware glitches. Here’s how you do it:

Turn off your Galaxy Note 5.
Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time: Volume Up key, Home key, and Power key.
When the phone vibrates, release the Power key but continue to press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key.
When the Android System Recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up and Home keys.
Press the Volume Down key to highlight ‘wipe cache partition.’
Press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, ‘Reboot system now’ is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.
Should this procedure fail to fix the problem, then the 3rd step will.

Third Step: Backup your data and perform the master reset

This is your last resort because you will spend a lot of time backing up your data, files, apps, etc. before you can actually do the reset. Once you’ve backed up every single file in your phone, remove your Google account and disable all screen locks and follow these steps:

Turn off your Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
Press and hold the Volume Up, Home and Power keys together.
When the device powers on and displays ‘Power on logo’, release all keys and the Android icon will appear on the screen.
Wait until the Android Recovery Screen appears after about 30 seconds.
Using the Volume Down key, highlight the option, ‘wipe data/factory reset’ and press the Power key to select it.
Press the Vol Down button again until the option ‘Yes — delete all user data’ is highlighted and then press the Power key to select it.
After the reset is complete, highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and hit the Power key to restart the phone.
I hope this helps.
